Wowhead's Challenge Mode guides and videos are an excellent resource — before heading to Youtube to look up World #1 runs, to see what special strategies the most successful players in the game use. World #1 groups always have challenge mode carry for gold mind-boggling DPS, sure, but they also usually employ clever (sometimes bizarre) tricks to shave considerable time off their runs. Wall jumps, goblin gliders, Warlock teleport shenanigans — all of these are perfectly legal and basically expected in Challenge Modes. Do you need to challenge mode wod use these tricks? Nope! But if you don't take these extra measures to cut down your times, you’d better be capable of executing near-flawless runs with outstanding DPS numbers.
Trinkets are a bigger part of the gear set and being so Lucky Double-Sidded Coin is a must have - Pairing it's on use with Stampede / boss fights is a heavy boost to challenge mode gold boost damage with the CM dungeon scaling. If you're an Alchemist your second trinket will be the Draenic Philosopher's Stone trinket. If you aren't an alchemist the archeage buy gold second best trinkets i can suggest are either the Meaty Dragonspine Trophy or Stone of Wind. Mirror of the Blademaster is a very solid choice, great for aoe and only a 1 min CD. Best to coordinate with the tank to cut down on general movement to utilize the 20sec duration.
